Particularly motivated business travelers and also those who generally do a lot of sports are also offered a number of opportunities during their business trip:
Fitness room in the hotel
After a workout in the gym
Sightjogging through the city
However, if your time is very limited, your small hotel room is sufficient for some exercises.
But we start from the very beginning:
TIP 1: MAKE SURE YOU ARE SUFFICIENTLY RELAXED WHEN BOOKING A HOTEL
What sounds natural is not taken into account by some business travelers. When booking a hotel, you should pay a lot of attention to the hotel facilities in addition to your fixed budget. Here you can check whether the selected hotel has a fitness room or even an indoor swimming pool. Wellness areas that you could use in the evening to get away from it all should also be taken into account when booking. Hotels with sauna, steam bath, thermal bath, whirlpool and the like are recommended for relaxation. You can find out which facilities the hotel offers under “Hotel facilities”. Furthermore, the room equipment can be an important factor. Also, make sure that you get a room with a bathtub.
TIP 2: FIND OUT ABOUT THE HOTEL ENVIRONMENT AND TRANSPORT OPTIONS
The location of the hotel is extremely important to make your business trip as stress-free as possible. Short distances between the hotel and the business meeting during the business trip reduce the upcoming stress and are a good way for you to get more exercise in your everyday life. Whether it is a walk after the meeting to the hotel or a short ride on a rental bike for dinner: this exercise is good for you and keeps you fit on your business trip. Please inform yourself beforehand about the traffic routes. Also, find out whether you can rent bicycles in the hotel or in the immediate vicinity. This stimulates the circulation in the morning and makes you fit for a good start to the day!
If you like walking, there are hotels in a city park, on the outskirts of the city with a forest or on the beach promenade. But this location is also ideal for walks so that you can switch off even better after work.
TIP 3: TAKE ENOUGH TIME TO PACK YOUR SUITCASE

Pack carefully for your workouts on the business trip
Often business meetings are called spontaneously and there is not much time to pack. But even here you should keep a clear head and pack the things that you could use for training or relaxation during your business trip. It is best to pack your suitcase at least two days before departure so that you have enough time to check whether you have everything you need or whether you still need to buy something for your suitcase.
Here are a few effective tools to make your training in your hotel room and your relaxation phases on the trip easier:

If you have your favorite music on your mobile phone or MP3 player, it helps to motivate your fitness program. Download the music to your mobile phone for offline use if you do not have WLAN or mobile Internet access everywhere. To measure the time during the exercises, download a special app such as “Interval Timer” or “HIIT – Interval Training” to your smartphone. A thin fitness mat fits rolled up in almost any luggage and makes training easier for you with your own body weight. If you want to use the fitness center or go running, you should bring the appropriate sports shoes and sportswear with you.
